Skinora is a wellness tool, not a medical device. For medical concerns, always consult a licensed dermatologist or healthcare provider. In emergencies, call your local emergency number immediately.
Not a medical device
Skinora is a consumer wellness application. It is not registered as a medical device under the EU Medical Devices Regulation (MDR 2017/745), the US FDA, or any other regulatory body. Its outputs are for informational and educational purposes only.
Not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
Skin scores, ingredient compatibility warnings, AI coach responses, and routine recommendations are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. They are general wellness suggestions based on consumer-grade image analysis and publicly available ingredient data.
When to see a dermatologist
Consult a licensed dermatologist or qualified healthcare provider for:
- Moles or skin lesions that are changing, bleeding, or irregularly shaped.
- Severe or cystic acne, rashes, or skin infections.
- Suspected skin cancer or any growth of concern.
- Allergic reactions or severe sensitivity.
- Any condition that worsens or does not improve with a wellness routine.
If you believe you have a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.
AI accuracy limits
Skin analysis depends on image quality, lighting, device camera, and your pose. Results are statistical estimates and can be wrong. Do not make health decisions based solely on a Skinora score.
Ingredient information
Ingredient warnings are educational and based on public cosmetic ingredient databases. They are not individualized allergy advice. Patch-test new products and consult a dermatologist for allergy concerns.
Pregnancy, medical conditions, medications
If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking prescription skin medications (isotretinoin, tretinoin, etc.), or have a medical skin condition — consult your doctor before following any routine from Skinora.
No doctor-patient relationship
Using Skinora does not create a doctor-patient relationship between you and anyone at Skinora Labs. We are not licensed to provide medical advice.
