Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Skinora, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Medical Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Halil Hilmi Karar (Türkiye), publishing as "Digital Sails" — see the Imprint.

You must be at least 16 years old (or older where your country's digital consent age requires it). By using Skinora you confirm you meet this requirement. Business or commercial use requires our prior written permission.

You are responsible for activity under your account. Sign-in uses your Google or Apple account — protect those credentials. Notify us at hello@skinora.io if you suspect unauthorized use.

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use Skinora for your own skincare purposes, subject to these Terms. You may not: reverse engineer, resell, automate mass usage, scrape, or use the Service to build a competing product.

You keep ownership of photos, product scans, and messages you upload ("User Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display your User Content solely to operate the Service. We never sell your User Content.

Some features let you make content visible to others (for example, progress videos you explicitly set to public, or challenge activity visible to friends). Content you share publicly must comply with Section 8. We may remove content that violates these Terms, and we provide in-app tools to report inappropriate content and block users. Blocking a user hides their public content from you and yours from them.

Premium is billed through your Apple or Google account. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel them in your App Store / Google Play subscription settings. Refunds for store purchases are handled by Apple and Google under their policies. Statutory withdrawal and refund rights in your country (including EU consumer rights and Turkish consumer law) remain unaffected.

You agree not to: upload images of anyone other than yourself without their consent; use the AI coach in connection with self-harm or harm to others; upload unlawful, hateful, or sexually explicit content; harass other users; attempt to identify or track other users; interfere with the Service's operation; or misrepresent your identity.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free analysis, or fitness for a particular purpose. AI output can be wrong — do not rely on it for medical decisions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) €50. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or special damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or affects statutory rights that cannot be waived — including your rights as a consumer under the laws of your country of residence.

You may stop using Skinora and delete your account at any time in the app, or by emailing privacy@skinora.io. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, fraud, or legal reasons, with notice where possible.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer-protection rules and competent courts or dispute bodies of your country of habitual residence remain available to you. Consumers in Türkiye may apply to Consumer Arbitration Committees (Tüketici Hakem Heyeti) or Consumer Courts.

We may change these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the app before taking effect. Continued use after changes take effect means acceptance.
